The application deals with such objects as text, line, rectangle, ellipse, ole-object and image. The object properties of each object type are defined by the <object type>Properties dialog. These dialogs for object types mentioned above contain the General tab, which is similar for all the object types.
To view or modify object properties:
1. Select one or several objects you want to view or modify properties for.
Note: If you select several objects of different types, the system cannot show some tabs of the <object type>Properties dialog.
2. Do one of the following:
-- Choose Object Properties from the Format menu,
-- Click the
icon on the Format toolbar.
<object type>Properties dialog appears, if you select one object. If you select several objects the dialog has the title "Selection Properties". In any case the dialog includes the General tab and may include other tabs specific to the selected object type. If some objects are selected, only the intersection of tabs is shown along with fields for the same parameters, which are presented in an intermediate state if the parameters have a different value or have a value that is common for all selected objects that use these fields.
Example of the General tab for ellipse
The General tab of <object type>Properties dialog contains the following items:

Layer: |
Allows you to change an object layer by selecting from existing ones. |
Angle: |
Allows you to change the angle of object inclination by clicking up and down arrows at the right. |
You can change parameters described above for selected objects if necessary.
3. For further information about properties for lines, ellipses, and so on refer to the following sections: Managing Line Properties, Managing Rectangle Properties, Managing Ellipse Properties, Managing Text Properties, Managing Image Properties or Managing OLE-object Properties.
4. If you click OK, new parameters are applied and the dialog is closed. If you click Apply, new parameters come into effect and the dialog continues to operate.
