Using Line Tool

The Line Tool allows you to draw lines, polylines and splines on the labels.

To use the line tool:

1. Select the label you are going to use the line tool for.

2. Choose the Line Tool by clicking the icon on the Object's Toolbar. The mouse cursor appears as a crosshair with the polyline icon.

Line:

3. Click the mouse button in the place where you wish to begin a line. Move the mouse to the end point of your line and click the mouse button again. While dragging, a rubber band appears as a thin line, which can be resized and reshaped later.

4. Press the Enter button on the keyboard to complete the operation. The line will be transformed to a permanent line with a width equal to 1 px, and the color will be contrasted with the background.

5. If you press either the right mouse button or the Esc key, the current drawing process is cancelled. The tool remains selected.

Polyline:

3. Click the mouse button in the place where you wish to begin the segment of a polyline. Move the mouse to the end point of this segment and click the mouse button again. While dragging, a rubber band appears as a thin line, which can be resized and reshaped later.

4. Repeat step 3 as many times as needed.

5. Press the Enter button on the keyboard to complete the operation. The polyline will be transformed to a permanent polyline with a width equal to 1 px, and the color will be contrasted with the background.

6. If you press either the right mouse button or the Esc key, the current drawing process is cancelled. The tool remains selected.

Spline:

3. Hold the mouse button down in the place where you wish to begin the spline. Move the mouse to the end point of this spline and click the mouse button again. While dragging, a rubber band appears as a thin line, which can be resized and reshaped later.

4. Repeat the step 3 as many times as needed.

5. Press the Enter button on the keyboard to complete the operation. The spline will be transformed to a permanent spline with a width equal to 1 px, and the color will be contrasted with the background.

6. If you press either the right mouse button or the Esc key, the current drawing process is cancelled. The tool remains selected.
