The View Toolbar looks like the one shown below. The icons of the View Toolbar are associated with commands discussed below.

Duplicates the View-->Snap to Grid command. When clicked turns the Snap to Grid function on or off. When turned on an object in the work area moves to the closest grid point. |

Duplicates the View-->Snap to Guidelines command. When clicked turns the Snap to Guidelines function on or off. When turned on an object in the work area moves to the closest guideline if it is in appropriate distance from it. |

Duplicates the View-->Grid and Guidelines Setup command. When clicked displays the Grid & Guidelines tab of the Options dialog. For more information refer to the section titled Setting Options. |

Duplicates the View-->Field Codes command. When clicked displays the field codes instead of text representation. |

Duplicates the View-->Background command. Allows you to turn the background for a label on or off. |

Duplicates the View-->Grid Lines command. Allows you to turn the Work Area grid on or off. |

Duplicates the View-->Ruler command. Allows you to turn the Ruler on or off. |
