Modifying the parameters

      • To start the editor from the Windows station connect it to the Netware file server.
      • The system disk of the Netware server on which the Solution-Pac / Wan are installed must be associated to a unit of the Windows station. (for example : F: ).
      • Go to the UM-Editor directory. (for example F:\upsman\umeditor ).
      • In this directory type : umed.

      A configuration display should appear allowing you to configure the general parameters of Solution-Pac / WAN components that you have installed.

      The configuration screen allows you to configure the following parameters:

      IP address

      Trap Ack timeout

      Trap retry count

      Serial port (Check carefully this parameter value)

      Baud rate

      Activate trap trace

      Log size

      Automatic startup

      Manager Table

      Log settings
