Modifying the parameters

      • To run the editor manually, go into the directory /usr/upsman/umeditor and enter the command ./umed

      Configuration displays should appear allowing you to configure the general parameters of Solution-Pac / WAN components that you have installed. Choose following screen to configure UM-Agent :

      The configuration screen allows you to configure the following parameters:

      IP address

      Trap Ack timeout

      Trap retry count

      Serial port (Check carefully this parameter value)

      Baud rate

      Activate trap trace

      Log size

      Automatic startup

      Manager Table

      Log settings
