The SNMP managers receive the traps on a pre-defined port (port UDP 162) although a single process may be monitoring a UDP port such as SNMP-Trap 162. When UM-Client coexists on the same system with another SNMP manager, special organization is required. The SNMP manager must redirect the agent traps from the UPS to another UDP port. UM-Client must then be configured to receive the traps on this other UDP port.
