VisualZIP Pro32

Rather than being a tool used to operate on zip archives, VisualZIP is
an extension for the Windows95/NT shell that provides the system with
the native ability to browse and manipulate archives directly.  Archives
appear to the system as desktop folders, which can be opened and explored,
and adding and extracting files is accomplished through the same drag and
drop interface as is used for copying files within normal folders.

With VisualZIP installed, the user can also run standalone applications
and documents from within archive virtual folders almost as seamlessly
as if they were not compressed at all.  While this metaphor makes VisualZIP
the ideal archive manager for the novice, it also supports a wide array
of advanced features, such as:

- Self-extracting archive generation
- Multivolume archive creation (disk spanning) and processing
- Long filename support
- Full browseable directory structures within archives (also viewable
  in the left hand side of the explorer): no more flat listings!
- Virus scanning using the default scanner (msav) or any user-supplied
  virus tool
- Encryption and decryption, including multiple passwords per archive
  and on-demand password prompting.  Encryption is also supported in
  multivolume and self-extracting archives.
- Dropping onto a zip archive "folder" icon for compression
- Right dragging of archives and extracting files at the drop point, even
  with multiple archives in a single operation.
- Configurable compression levels

VisualZIP is easily installed using a standard windows setup application,
with no user configuration required.  It can also be uninstalled at will
using the Add/Remove programs applet in the control panel.
