This jet fighter plane is a Soviet-built MiG-15 of the type that fought in the Korean War, and was exported to many Communist countries, including Cuba, during the 1950s and 60s. It has a double canopy which seats two people in tandem, indicating that it was a trainer.
This plane was found in the playground outside the Pioneers' clubhouse in Santiago de Cuba.
