Ceramic Fruits from Coisas da Terra
in Salvador, Bahia.

These are photographs I took in a store called Coisas da Terra, located in the Pelourinho area of Salvador . These extraordinary ceramic fruits and plants are made in their workshops in Ibirataia, in southern Bahia, where visitors are welcome. Of course, I had to bring home some of these fabulous pieces...handcarried them all the way! If you must know which ones: mango, jambo, fruta-do-conde, cashew, cocoa and coconut.
