WHAT IT IS
  • Japan PenFriend is a pen pal service that specializes in (but is not restricted to) contacts between Japanese and Non-Japanese people.

  • This forum is thought for people of any age who are interested in making friendships for cultural exchange, language exchange, etc... Everybody looking for an e-mail pen pal is welcome to participate.

  • Japan PenFriend is part of Schauwecker's Guide to Japan.

HOW IT WORKS
  • By registering, you can publish a message on our pages. Others can then request your e-mail address and contact you.

  • You may withdraw from the system at any time. If you don't, your message will automatically be removed after three to five months.

  • This service is completely free of charges.

  • The pen pals are categorized according to their gender, origin and age. After registering, you will be listed at the top of your category.

  • Note that unfortunatelly some pen pals receive very many messages while others receive one only rarely. For example are women naturally "more popular" than men.

ID NUMBER
(Identity number)
  • Once your message is published (about one to seven days after the registration), a personal ID number will be sent to you in an e-mail of confirmation.

  • With your ID number you can at any time instantly withdraw from the system or modify your message.

  • You must keep your ID Number. If you lose it, you will not be able anymore to withdraw from the system or to modify your message.
