Royal Flush Pinball FAQ ----------------------------------------------------- As you may know, the original technical support provider for Royal Flush Pinball is no longer in business. Since GT Interactive Software was the distributor for this title, we feel it is important to help our customers where possible. We have become aware of one important issue. If you are having trouble entering the required serial number while installing Royal Flush Pinball follow these steps: 1. First make sure you are in DOS mode. Royal Flush Pinball is a DOS-based game ONLY.If you are running Windows 3.1, you must first exit to DOS by clicking "File" in the top left hand corner of your Program Manager window, selecting "Exit Windows"..., and then clicking "OK". Then you should see a C:\ prompt, where C:\ is normally your hard drive DOS prompt. If you are running Windows '95, you must first exit to DOS by clicking on the "Windows Start" button,then on the "Shut Down" option that is presented. When the "Shut Down Windows" box appears, click on the option to "Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode ?" Finally, click on the "Yes" button on the bottom of that Windows box. Your system will restart in DOS mode. Once you are in DOS mode begin the installation using the instructions supplied within Royal Flush Pinball or on the Quick Start Instructions on the back of the CD jewel case. We have heard that there may be more than one version of this product out there, but this is not confirmed as of this time. 2. Once you see the Main Menu that includes 4 choices: 1. Install 2. View Readme File 3. View Manual 4. Quit Select Install. A box will appear requesting that you "Enter Serial Number". This serial number and the box where your entry must go is ONLY eleven characters long. It includes both letters and numbers. We've had reports that one version supplies 12 characters for entry. This is incorrect. You must enter the following 11 characters ONLY in the correct sequence. These are: YRZ1Z6BSPTN (Y,R,Z,one,Z,six,B,S,P,T,N) plus press the "return" or "enter" key. Once accepted, you should then see another box asking you to "Select the installation directory" desired.
