The skylights is a programme centre, situated in the Levi area by the beautiful river Ounas. The main building is 500 metres squared, and is decorated with Lappish and Finnish traditional furniture which sets a peaceful and homely atmosphere. There are 12 uniquely decorated rooms which sleep up to 30 persons, each one traditionaly furnished for your comfort and interest. The dining rooms where delicious a la carte meals are served can cater for parties of up to 100 persons. The skylights has 2 saunas, the modern electrically heated one and the traditional wood heated sauna on the riverbank which caters for 20 persons. Like all traditional wood heated saunas, this has its own special and unique atmospheric quality, and of course its own sauna fairy! The Skylights is available for private hire for groups for day programmes and also welcomes longer staying visitors. We warmly welcome you to the Skylights where you can experience the tradition and mystical qualities of Lapland that have been unspoilt by tourism and urban burdens. |
