There's a couple of things that i want to make clear to people that are going to play this map. First of all, this map was originally a map for the Hostile Intent mod, but by converting this to CS its gotten a overscaled look (since the CS players are alot smaller than the ones in the normal HL, this thereby creates the feeling of you being extremely small in CS). I cant do anything about this without redoing pretty much the entire map, which i wont (since it will take shitloads of time :D). This makes the map look pretty bad in CS, but if you try and load it up in normal HL, you will see that it looks alot better. I've tried to make it look as good as possible without changing the entire map, but in some areas it was nearly impossible to make it look good.

Another thing i find pretty important, is that this map is pretty much a year old (it was done in the start of august 2001).That means that the mapping and architecture seen in this map doesnt represent the level of skills i've got today. But considering this, i still think its a pretty good looking map, by especially looking at the complexity of the map.

The story of Countdown has been a dark and sad one (since i couldnt release it until Hostile Intent was released). But i've had enough of waiting, and now i just want this map out. Also keep in mind that over the time where i've just waited for the mod to come out, people have been silently grabbing inspiration from this map, and taken it for thier own maps. I dont have anything against this at all (im honored by this actually :D), but if this reminds you of something you're played before, dont start accusing me of stealing (which other people have done D;).

Anyway, i hope you will enjoy this map as much as i enjoyed making it.
