COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY'S CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH AND CONSERVATION CERC) will be offering a five week, six credit Summer Ecosystem Experience for undergraduates this summer. Students may choose to study in Brazil (tropical forest), Biosphere 2 (desert biome) or the Black Rock Forest (temperate forest, NY, Hudson Valley).
While physically studying in one field site, students will be linked via network to the other two biomes to enable them to compare and expand their understanding of each of these environmentally diverse biomes.
