Menu Path: Options/Settings/General Use General Setting to adjust common features in MUSICMATCH.
Use MUSICMATCH as the default player for By checking the box next to each option you can use MUSICMATCH Jukebox as the default (regular) player for the following music file formats.
Reclaim File Associations Occasionally, installing other applications will cause the file association (in other words, the program to play a particular type of file, like MP3s) to change from MUSICMATCH. If you'd like to control this through MUSICMATCH you have 3 options:
When double clicking local music files By checking the box next to each option, When double-clicking on a music file on your hard drive, you can elect to have it:
When downloading music files from the web By checking the box next to each option, When you download a music file from the Internet you can have it:
QuickPlay in the System Tray By checking the box next to Enable MUSICMATCH QuickPlay in the System Tray, an Icon will be placed in the System Tray in the lower right hand corner of your screen.
Permission to communicate with MUSICMATCH server (Internet connection required). Checking these options allows for automated tasks to occur. Periodically check for updated versions of MUSICMATCH - will look to the MUSICMATCH server for the newest version of MUSICMATCH Jukebox and give you the option to update your program.
