Maximum Bandwidth
|
Menu path: Options/Settings/Recorder/Advanced Bandwidth specifies the range of frequencies allowed into an MP3 file. The human ear can hear anywhere from 20Hz to 22kHz, and varies from person to person. However, a "normal" human ear can only hear up to 16kHz. If you want higher frequencies, as are often found in classical music, then adjust the slider to a higher bandwidth. The only tradeoff, you will probably hear more audio artifacts (sounds such as scratches or other surface imperfections) at bandwidth levels over 16kHz.
