                      DSP16 Drivers & Software
                      ------------------------

This diskette contains release R07 of the DSP16 software.  Notes of
interest include:

  1)  If you are using an Opti based motherboard and having problems,
      substituting the DSP16A.SYS file for the DSP16.SYS file will
      probably resolve all problems.

  2)  The dsp firmware release includes the adpcm feature.

  3)  The dsp firmware release includes some optimization of the basic
      music synthesis which provides better fidelity for certain
      software.
