Seeing Our Shorelines:
What Do You See?
We are going
to ask you to look at a few photos of shoreland settings. As each image
appears on the screen, respond spontaneously based first on what
you see in each scene, looking through your own eyes or "lenses".
Try to be as specific as you can in describing the scene. Next, comment
on why you see this, in other words, why you find the scene attractive
or unattractive, what you like or dislike, what other features you notice,
how the scene makes you feel, and so on.
After each image appears on the screen for you to describe, the next
screen will give you an opportunity to hear observations about the same
image through the eyes of other citizens and natural resource professionals.
Did you key in on the same things? Do you share their impressions or
perceive things differently?
