If you have entered your recurring bills, youÆve already taken the first major step toward automating your bill payments. With recurring bills, Money reminds you as the due date approaches. All you have to do is write the check and send the bill.
If youÆve set up electronic payments for your bills, itÆs even easier. You just schedule the payment to be sent to your bill payment service, and youÆre done. For more information about setting up bill payment services, click Organizing Your Accounts in the left pane of this UserÆs Guide, and then click Recurring bills.
Bill calendar. You can review a list of upcoming bills, deposits, and transfers in a calendar format. On the Accounts & Bills menu, click Calendar to see your scheduled bills on their due dates. The Home page and the feedback pane on the account register also show upcoming scheduled transactions.
For one-time bills like car repairs and medical expenses, use the account register for the account from which the bill will be paid.
If you have already scheduled your recurring bills, you can just select it in Money and then pay it.
If youÆve set up your recurring bills to be paid with your electronic bill payment service, you just need to schedule the date in Money and submit the payment.
Make an electronic payment within the register. You can set up an online payment directly from the account register by entering Epay in the Number field, completing the information, and then clicking Submit.
As you enter transactions, Money detects transactions that might be recurring, and flags them in the account register with a red question mark icon. You can set up those transactions as a recurring bill or leave them as is.
Money will then remind you of this upcoming scheduled transaction. Money will consider this transaction when calculating your cash flow or helping you set up a budget. You can also have Money enter the transaction into your account register automatically.
