Using the IEAK, you can configure the following options before users install the browser:
- Secify the language version of Internet Explorer that you want to include in your installation package. You must run the IEAK wizard once for each language version you want to create.
- Administrators can preinstall certificates on a user's computer and block users from downloading other certificates.
- Preset your users' ratings configurations to adhere to your organization's policies.
- Security zones enable administrators to establish different levels of security and zones of trust.
- Administrators can configure and control the Web integrated desktop, including Active Desktop items, desktop toolbars, and folder views. You can create a default desktop for their organization. You can also determine which options a user can adjust and which ones are not available.
- Specify proxy settings for addresses and ports
- Set a corporate standard disclaimer for any newsgroup postings created by users in your organization.
