The purpose of the training material, depending on project requirements, is to teach users how to use, operate or maintain the product. The material is intended for use in training courses.

  • Overhead slides for class-room teaching.
  • Student notes for class-room teaching.
  • Teacher's instructions.
  • Example programs, databases, and so on.
  • Textbooks, tutorials.

Training Materials are initially created in the Elaboration Phase as the Requirements and Use Cases evolve. They are refined in the Construction Phase.

Tailoring To top of page

Training materials are needed if there will be formal education of users or system operations staff.

Responsibility To top of page

The Course Developer is responsible for designing and creating the training material.
