The object of Montana is to sort the cards in the four different colours in four rows ascending from Two up to the King.
The game starts with all the cards being shown on the table. Then the aces are removed, leaving four holes.
You may now move any card which comes in colour and rank after one of the cards left of a hole therein. Therefore, if you have a King left of a hole, this one is blocked.
The deal is over, if all four holes are blocked.
