Alpine Swift

A large brown swift with a white throat and belly and a dark breast band. The tail is slightly forked. Length: 20-22 cm.; weight: 104 g. Breeds in southern Europe, Africa and western Asia. Accidental on Desecheo Island (20 July 1987).
