Connecticut Warbler

A gray hood with a white eye ring distinguish this warbler. Length: 13-15 cm.; weight: 15 g. Breeds across southern Canada and around the western Great Lakes. One of only four North American breeding warblers that exclusively walk, and one of only four that winter only in South America. Rare migrant in undergrowth of coastal and wet forests of Puerto Rico, for example, Gußnica State Forest, 29 September 1988.
