Windmill 1		  
Step 1
   
Rotary cut the pieces of the block to the desired size. Arrange the pieces so they create the final block design.



Step 2 		 


Step 3
Sew the pieces labeled 1 to each other by placing right sides together and stitching a ¼ seam allowance. Sew 2’s, 3’s and 4’s in the same manner. Press the seam allowances in the direction of the darkest colored fabric. Return units to layout.
 

Sew the pieces labeled 1 together. Repeat for 2’s, 3’s and 4’s. Press seam allowance. Return units to the layout.
