programming. It contains much of the information on windows assembly language
programming that I have come across. This site is primarily intended
for beginners, but it should hopefully also be of use to more experienced
programmers.

Why Program Windows in Assembly: |
Programming with assembly language has never been easier. The Windows 32-bit environment makes assembly programming a breeze. There is no need to worry about segments or any of the other difficulties associated with a 16-bit operating environment. Also, the Windows API makes assembly language seem almost like a high-level language. In fact, programming 32-bit assembly under windows is as easy as programming it in C. |
Getting Started: |
There are several things
you need to begin programming in assembly language.
First, you need an assembler and a linker. Hutch's MASM32 package provides both of these for free. Second, you need a win32 API reference, which covers all of the windows api fuctions. Third, you should read some tutorials and download some example source code... Finally, you need some time and patience to learn ... |
