Triad 1.5

Thank you for downloading Triad!

Remember, Triad is Shareware--if you plan to keep it, please register your copy. You can purchase a registration code for just US$15; when you do, you'll be able to play Triad beyond its 15-day evaluation period. (The registration code will be valid for all future versions of Triad, so hang on to it.) You'll also automatically be added to random's mailing list of Triad users, so you'll get notified when new versions and new features released.

What's New in Version 1.5

Triad now ensures that, if you have fifteen tiles showing, there will always be a Triad among them. (In earlier versions, a bug sometimes allowed fifteen tiles to be displayed yet still have no Triad among them.)

You can now publish your times on the internet, to see how you rate against other Triad players! When you get a new high score, just check the box where Triad asks you if you want to publish your high score. You can click here to see the best Triad scores from around the world!

Lots of minor problems have been fixed, and little tweaks implemented. Keep the suggestions and problem reports coming!

Software Requirements
Triad requires the following in order to run:
  • Microsoft Windows 95 (or 98, or later) or Windows NT 4.0
  • Microsoft DirectX Runtime version 3 or later (you can download this from Microsoft--it's about 3.5MB--but you may have it already, because most recent games require it as well--and Windows 98 includes it by default)
  • A video card capable of displaying at least a resolution of 640x480 at 256-colors
  • A mouse

If you cannot get Triad to work on your computer, email us with a description of the problems you're encountering.

As always, we're very much interested in hearing from you--if you have suggestions for improvements (or even just an idea for a new game) or are having trouble, feel free to email us.
