Contents and Format

This file contains the basic catalogue with the data that are common to most of the volumes of the Yale Zone Catalogues and that are likely to be of interest to most users. If any datum is missing, the corresponding field will be blank. Although an I or an F format is often suggested to make the units clear, an A format may be necessary to distinguish between a blank and a zero. Units are given as used but the suggested format will provide data in normal units (e.g., the magnitude will be read as 9.68 with the suggested F format or 968 with an A format).
