• Complete a business project by building an application inWINDOWS using the relational database (WATCOM) with multiple data windows.

Course Overview

PowerBuilder is one of the leading tools in the market today for building GUI applications, but it also supports the object-oriented concepts of encapsulation and inheritance.The lab sessions on each day are planned to help students understand and become familiar with the development environment. The students will be able to use this experience to work on the project assignment.

Audience

This course is designed for professionals who want to build client/server applications using PowerBuilder. It is meant for programmers who are conversant with relational databases but not familiar with object-oriented concepts and class libraries for developing GUI applications under WINDOWS.

• Familiarity with application development involving relational databases.
