DCE Cell Manager On-line Help
The on-line Help system includes:
- QuickHelp messages, which display at the bottom of each window in DCE Cell Manager applications. QuickHelp messages are concise hints that express the purpose of a specific component and how to use it. A component's message displays when the pointer contacts the component.
- A Help button in each of the DCE Cell Manager applications subordinate windows. Clicking the button displays a list of the tasks you can use the window to perform. In most cases, the information includes quick-reference procedures.
- A Help menu in the main window.

Different types or levels of information from the Help menu include:
- On Context
- Displays detailed information about a specific window component.
- On Window
- Describes the tasks you can perform from the window.
- On Application
- Explains the application's purpose and basic capabilities. Introduces important concepts and terms.
- Index
- Lists each of the application components for which you can get help.
- On Help
- Describes the on-line Help system.
- On Keys
- Details the application's keyboard shortcuts.
