SUNNYVALE, CA -- January 31, 1995 -- To provide sales and support to customers worldwide, Pure Software today announced the opening of fully-operational subsidiaries for its line of industry-leading software quality improvement products. Pure Software is the first software quality company to simultaneously launch, fully-functional operations in both Europe and Japan. European headquarters have been established in Amsterdam. The Japanese operation, Pure Software K.K., is based in Tokyo. In addition, the company has signed contracts with leading distribution partners in key regions throughout Europe and Japan.

ôSoftware quality is a global issue and one not currently being addressed properly. Pure Software Opens Offices Globally

Pure SoftwareÆs European operations are centralized in Amsterdam, with direct sales offices in UK, France and Germany. Pure Software will serve the rest of the European market through distributors. Pure Software is currently working with ATEL in Italy and in the process of naming additional distributors as needed.

Pure Software K.K. works directly with customers in Japan and has just completed partnerships and business plans with four of Japan's leading distribution organizations: Software Research Associates K.K. (SRA); Itochu Techo Science K.K. (CTC); Toyo Information Systems K.K. (TIS); and BASE Technology K.K. These well-respected distribution partners will help Pure Software serve customers and establish the Japanese software quality market.
