Parallel Database Training: The Hightest Quality Training For Your Enterprise
When an hour of downtime can cost your
- business thousands of dollars, there's no
underestimating the importance of having
your mission-critical data available at all
times. Besides needing reliable systems, you
want a premium support program that ensures
those systems are constantly performing at
their peak. Equally important, you need assurance that your system administrators have
the expertise to fully support these complex
systems.
As part of our SunServiceSM High-Availability
Support Program, we provide training courses
to ensure that, through proper operation, your
systems perform optimally. The cost of these
courses is included in the purchase price of
Sun(TM) Parallel Database Systems, so two of
your system administrators can be trained and
take certification exams at no additional cost.
Sun Educational Services or a Sun authorized
training center performs the training for
Sun products, and coordinates and schedules
the database vendor's training courses. The
world's largest UNIX« training organization,
Sun Educational Services instructs more than
50,000 students in enterprises around the
world every year.
Training courses designed with
your success in mind
Training courses included are:

and coordinate their scheduling. The courses
consist of two and a half weeks of training
for two of your system administrators.
Optional courses include:
- Solaris 2.X System Administration Essentials
- This course is geared for those with no
UNIX experience and covers installing standalone workstations, file system navigation,

procedures, shell features, and basic networking concepts. (This five-day course is
not part of our bundled Parallel Database
System Warranty Support Program.)
- Solaris 2.X Server Administration - This
