Well, this game proved to be quite a challenge in editing and playtesting. Aside from the multi-path aspects and length of the game, there were various corrections to actual game code that had to be deciphered so that everything functioned properly.
Bishoujo multi-path adventures like this one offer a unique challenge for an editor. You see, the player-character personality changes depending on the storyline selections you make - this has to be represented through the dialogue, and it can be quite tricky to show such differences when doing the English rewriting of the original script. The player has to be portrayed as being a shy, loveable gentleman for Mai-san's storyline, but a nice, average guy for Kumi-chan's, and something of a party animal Misato-sama's and Keiko-chan's, and so on. Of course, this type of dialogue portrayal also applies to the girls, but they have spoken dialogue so there is more performance and ambience to their characters on which to base the written script.
I hope you enjoy "Tokimeki Check in!" as well as other titles from Peach Princess.
