How to use old version cheats to new patches

This way is kinda dumb but if no hack for it exist this
is the best way.
1. Rename your diablo directory to what ever you want.
2. Install diablo so you have two diablo directories.
3. If you want to use 1,02 cheats then install the
patch for v1,02 if you want to use 1,0 don't do anything.
4. Start a diablo.exe on your new directory.
5. Start a game(you will be able to use characters from
the other diablo directory).
6. Cheat how much as you want to.
7. Quit diablo and start over in the old directory.
8. Now you will be able to play with the cheated 
character. But as I said this way is kinda dumb.
