NAME
pbmtochar - convert a portable bitmap into a character picture
SYNOPSIS
pbmtochar [pbmfile]
DESCRIPTION
Reads a portable bitmap as input.
Produces a character picture as output. This is done by pattern matching
a built-in fixed width font to the bitmap. It is assumed that characters
on the output device are black (true for printers and white screen terminals).
If the output is to be displayed on a terminal where the characters are
brighter than the background (most tty terminals) then the input must be
inversed using pnminvert(1).
BUGS
The built-in character font may not exactly match the font of the output
device.
