NAME
trmatch - checks matching in troff documents.
SYNOPSIS
trmatch
filename
DESCRIPTION
Trmatch
gives error messages if it detects unmatched
braces, brackets, parentheses, equations, and
dollar signs in troff documents.
Error messages are sent to the standard error.
Escaped braces, brackets, parentheses, and dollar signs are not counted.
Text and equations are checked separately.
It takes equations to be delimited by .EQ and .EN.
If a ``define'' occurs in the equation, the line containing
the ``define'' is not checked (since it is bound to have unmatches).
DIAGNOSTICS
Displayed equations that are started and ended by user-defined
commands are regarded as text and matching is not checked
separately.
