NAME
notes - X window system notepad
SYNOPSIS
notes
[
-toolkitoptions ...
]
DESCRIPTION
notes
provides a mechanism for manipulating on-screen notes. Notes may be
displayed, edited, and saved. In addition, any on-screen note may be
resized to any arbitrary size either when it is created or at a later time.
OPTIONS
notes
accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command line options.
FILES
~/.notes
When
notes
first starts, it looks for a file called ``.notes'' in the current
directory. If not found, it will then look in your HOME directory
for this file.
BUGS
There is no indicator of unsaved changes.
If the system should go down while unsaved changes exist in a note
or notes, those changes will be lost.
There is no way to specify an alternate notefile.
This man page could use some help on the subject of useful
resources.
