NAME
mtalk - Multitalk multi-user Talk Parlour
ORIGIN
Questar Data Systems
SYNOPSIS
mtalk
DESCRIPTION
mtalk
is a multi-user conference program which can support up to 20 users at
the same time. When you run
mtalk
, you actually run a shell script which then runs the main program and
is controlled in the
mtalk
directory which is defined upon compilation. This program allows you to have
either public or private conversations with others who are logged into
the program at that particular time. For information on the many commands,
and procedures for using
mtalk
, refer to you site administrator for copies of the manual.
FILES
/usr/local/bin/mtalk - script that runs multitalk.
BUGS
mtalk
will lose track of its loginfile if someone ctrl-C's out while in /auto. Other
than that, the program is bulletproof.
