The "Aurora" is known as "The ship # 1" of the 
former Soviet Fleet. She was built in 1900 in 
St.Petersburg by the project of engineer 
K.Tokarevsky. It was named after the heroic 
Russian "Aurora" Frigate participated in Krym 
War of 1853-56. During the World War II the 
guns from the cruiser were removed and were 
used in the defence of Leningrad. Now it is the 
museum which contains more than 500 
documents about "Aurora" history.
