Along with this text file, you will find the file Startrek.mdb. This is a MS Access 95 file for my Star Trek Video Collection database. You can put this file anywhere you want on your hard drive. The database consists of a table, an input form, and two reports. The fields in the table and input form are as follows: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Show: A three-letter abbreviation for the Star Trek series ORG = original Star Trek (I do not have any of these in my collection. You will have to add them if you do. TNG = Star Trek: The Next Generation DS9 = Star Trek: Deep Space 9 VOY = Star Trek: Voyager Title: The title of the episode Year: The year the episode aired. Actually, this is the season. For instance, if the show aired during the 1995-1996 season, this field would be 1996. Episode: The episode number for the season. Tape Number: The number you have put on the tape containing this episode. Tape Position: The position on the tape for this episode. I only allows values of 1 through 6 since I use 2-hour tapes in extended play (6 hours) mode. You might want to change the allowable range if you use different tapes. Description: A short description of this episode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have also every episode of TNG, DS9, and VOY recorded in the database up through February 2, 1997. I have assigned a tape number of 100 to any episodes I am missing to let me know that they are not actually recorded yet. Have fun!
