Secure Delete integrates seamlessly with Windows 95 / NT and many other platforms to provide a drag and drop icon on the desktop which will securely delete files dragged onto it - a Secure Recycle Bin. Under Windows 95 / NT this process is automated in the installation, however the principle remains the same for every platform which supports drag and drop. Create a link or shortcut to the Secure Delete program ( sdel.exe or sdel.class ) and place this link on the desktop. When you drag files onto this link the filenames are passed to Secure Delete and a CLI window will pop up while the files are deleted.
