It has been designed by two high school teachers to be used as a teaching tool in a classroom environment, or as an mastery learning tool for an individual. Its graphical interface introduces students to the compound light microscope and various other forms of magnifying a specimen - such as UV, Darkfield, X-Ray, SEM, and TEM microscopes. This multimedia lesson ends with a test. This lesson is only one part of a complete compound light microscope tutorial package called "Scopemaster".
