Getting Started
Welcome to Plug-In Software Demo.
This software has been provided for evaluation purposes only. Many features and options have been disabled in this version.
Before launching your new business there are a few things you will need to begin.
First and most important! Check into all appropriate government requirements for operating a business in your area. These may include but are not limited to: Federal, State, Provincial, Municipal and City Taxes and Licensing.
A few things to consider but not limit yourself to: Register a business name and set up bank accounts to depostite payments to. Aquire credit card merchant status.
Next during the configuration of your new site you will need to provide the following information:
- Your Business Name
- Your Street
- Your Address
- Your City, Prov./State
- Your Postal/Zip Code
- Your Country
- Your Phone Number
- Your Fax Number
- Your E-mail Address
- Your Price For 1 Publication
- Your Price For 5 Publications
- Your Price For 25 Publications
- Your Price For All The Publications
- Currency
- Credit Card 1
- Credit Card 2
- Credit Card 3
- Credit Card 4
- Credit Card 5
It is important that you configue all the options in the full version. If you can not provide the information for an option such as your fax number, Copy "Your Fax Number" to the "Configure" option window and leave "Your Info" window blank then select "Auto Configure" Every option must be configured regardless!
(For the demo you will only need your business name)
Step 1
Launch a business plug-in by clicking on the "Key" icon and selecting the business you wish to configure. (The plug-ins that will be active must be purchased separately and installed see Step 6 below.)
(For the demo you will only be able to select "Publisher Demo")
Step 2
Select the "Auto Pilot Hand" icon to subscribe to additional services which include Avisit.to domain name, virtual hosting, banner advertising and more all in one setup form. (Services available depend on business plug-in.)
(This feature is disabled in the demo version.)
Step 3
Select the "Plug-In Wizard" icon and follow the on screen instructions.
Step 4
Select the tools option to create or modify your pages even more. (Advanced users only)
Step 5
Select the "Promotion Globe" icon for different ways to promote your new business.
(This feature is disabled in the demo version.)
Step 6
Select the "Plug-In" icon from this window you can see which plug-ins are available to you. If you do not have the Plug-In you can get it here as well.
By clicking on the name of the Plug-In you will be able to see the graphics Plug-Ins that are available for you to use. From this window you will also be able to preview and test your site.
By clicking on the name of the graphics pack you can preview the different graphics.
To install the graphics pack you like, open your windows file manager and copy all the images from:
c:/plug-in_software/www/name of business plug-in/plugins/pack_number/ to
c:/plug-in_software/www/name of business plug-in/
When prompted do you wish to overwrite existing files select yes to all.
IMPORTANT NOTE! Copy and paste only the image files!
(This demo version only contains one graphics pack.)
Step 7
If in step 2 you selected the virtual hosting service we will contact you with special instructions. If you are going to host your site on your own server. Launch your favorite FTP program and upload all the files and subfolders in the directory c:/Plug-In_Software/www/name of business plug-in/ except the subfolder plugins.
Tips
By clicking your right mouse button at any time you can activate a navigation menu.
