SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to run Authrest.exe from the Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5
CD, Authrest.exe fails and the following error message is displayed:
The dynamic link library edb.dll could not be found in the specified
path <PATH system variable>
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server
version 5.5. For more information, please see the following article in the

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server
