PPT97: Other Notes Pages Change After Editing Notes Page
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 97 for Windows
SYMPTOMS
When you modify the notes on one Notes Page in a PowerPoint presentation,
notes on other Notes Pages are also modified and look exactly the same.
CAUSE
This problem appears if the presentation was created in PowerPoint version
4.0 or 7.0 and PowerPoint translated it incorrectly, resulting in two or more slides pointing to the same Notes Page.
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft PowerPoint 97 Service Release 2
(SR-2).
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
