╖ MSN Web communities stores years in 4-digit year format.
╖ MSN Web communities does not ask users to input any date values, rather dates are generated by the system at the time of posting an item, or joining a community.
╖ Dates are displayed in US English date formats.
╖ Times are reported in Pacific Standard Time.
Two-digit shortcut handling:
Two-digit year shortcuts are displayed in the ôFull Sizedö view of photos, ôLast Replyö and ôSentö fields within a community.
They are displayed as MM/DD/YY HH: MM. The times are Pacific Standard Time.
Conversion to 4-digits year dates is based on the following.
Two-digit year shortcuts from 80-99 insert a ô19ö in front for the 4-digit year value.
Shortcuts from 00-34 insert in front of the shortcut ô20ö to the shortcut for the 4-digit year value.
Calculation of the shortcut is based on taking the stored 4-digit year value and removing the first two digits before display.
