We develop a PMO Program Statement documenting the availability of internal resources, including management personnel, their roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships, and prepare a startup plan.
• PMO Management ûDMR provides Year 2000-experienced project managers to staff core positions within a PMO. This allows clients to concentrate internal efforts and personnel on projects other than the Year 2000 effort.
• Program Review ûDMR assesses a clientÆs preparedness to achieve Year 2000 compliance. The Program Review examines the clientÆs existing Year 2000 PMO and Program Plan. DMR also reviews activities conducted to date and recommends actions to remedy areas that may pose a risk to program success.

Year 2000 Enterprise-Wide Assessment (EWA) Service

DMRÆs Year 2000 Enterprise-Wide Assessment Service evaluates a clientÆs entire organization and determines the effort and resources needed to become Year 2000 compliant. Information is gathered about a clientÆs application portfolio, technical environment, third-party software, facilities management systems and equipment, and other non-IT assets.

During the EWA, the full range of alternative strategies to code remediation is considered. These alternatives include redeveloping systems, replatforming of systems to new operating systems, such as Windows NT, and replacing existing systems with compliant packaged applications (i.e. SAP). DMR is able to draw on its twenty-five year history of successful systems development, its alliance partnership with Microsoft, and its specialized packaged application implementation groups to help clients achieve compliance via these alternative strategies.

Year 2000 Impact Analysis Service

The Impact Analysis Service designs a customized Year 2000 conversion program based on a clientÆs specified scope of delivery and requirements. As part of the service, specific date impacts within application code are located and the interrelationships between impacted components identified. These analyses drive the planning of the program.

Year 2000 Conversion Delivery Service

DMRÆs Year 2000 Conversion Delivery Service provides comprehensive technical resources to deliver Year 2000-compliant systems. It includes modification of the application code and data, creation of bridges and windows, quality assurance activities, testing and implementation activities. Testing is also offered as a separate service.

Testing Services

DMR can support a clientÆs entire testing effort, from test planning at the highest, strategic levels, to creation of test scripts, cases and actual test execution.
