NAME

PG - Scrollable full screen file viewer

SYNOPSIS

PG [file]

DESCRIPTION

PG reads the contents of a file and permits the user to "scroll" conveniently forwards and backwards through the contents of the file. PG is very fast, and can handle extremely large text files.

If no file is specified, PG will display what it reads from standard input. Data may be piped or redirected into PG.

COMMANDS

While PG is running, the user may press any of the following keys to perform the following actions:

<ESC> - Quits PG

<DN ARROW> - Scrolls downward one line

<UP ARROW> - Scrolls upward one line

<PAGE DN> - Scrolls downward one screenfull

<PAGE UP> - Scrolls upward one screenfull

<HOME> - Advances to beginning of file

<HOME> - Advances to end of file

Any other key will advance an entire screenfull.
