On behalf of everyone who has contributed to the Free-DOS project, I would like to welcome you to the Alpha 4 Release of the Free-DOS operating system.

You should have UNZIPped this archive with the '-d' option, to insure that the archive's directory structure is preserved. Please see the following files for more information. FAQ

They are everywhere, aren't they? As with any alpha release, there are bugs. Your bug reports will help us to provide you with a better product in the future, so please do not hesitate to contact the Free-DOS bug report coordinator at the address below. Or, if you are feeling ambitious, feel free to isolate or correct the bug in the source code, noting your changes, and send it in!
