LenzFX lets you use TrackView to control animatable parameters while still inside the Video Post module.
In any LenzFX dialog box, a parameter with a green arrow button next to it can be animated.
When the animation button is active, the associated spinner or variable will appear in TrackView and can be animated. If it is not active, the green button turns gray to indicate the parameter is no longer animatable.
There are two ways to set parameters for use in animation:
To use TrackView with LenzFX, the LenzFX Setup dialog box must be open when you click the TrackView button. If you open TrackView without LenzFX being open, the LenzFX Flare01 object does not appear in the TrackView List. If you have more than one LenzFX object in the scene, you will see multiple LenzFX Flare objects in TrackView.
When TrackView is open, a LenzFX Flare01 object appears, showing you the current animation parameters for your lens flare. The major parameters show up individually. Each part of the lens flare also has its own sections, under which you will find the respective parameters, so you will see a long list of animatable parameters. You can animate only the parameters you need to.
In TrackView, the first two flags have a color track only, because, as the start and end points of the gradient, they never move. Any flags beyond 1 and 2 have a position track, unless you disabled animation for the flag in the Flag Properties dialog box. If you disable the animation capabilities for a particular lens flare parameter, the corresponding entry in TrackView immediately disappears.
